Meet the designers of the future:

    Tease Tee’s by Linda Meltzer
Started by former costume designer Linda Meltzer 7 years ago, Teese Tee’s began building a loyal clientele when Meltzer began wearing the vintage 70’s T-shirts she had foraged in thrift shops for a period film she was designing. She began wearing the children’s vintage tee’s herself, and soon was designing them for the actresses on the film. The "Baby Tee" was born. Made of top quality cotton and eased up to fit adults, the Baby Tee premiered at Fred Segal. Teese Tee’s continuously innovates with designs such as the Shrunken Polo, Shrunken Dress Shirt, the Sexy Hoody, and most recently the Hidden Support Fashion Tank. The collection can be found at Fred Segal and Scoop.

    Leonardi by Teena Leonardi
The colorful background of Teena Leonardi has been her inspiration for creative expression and entrepreneurial pursuits. Started in 1999, her background includes a restaurant owner, chef, Bed & Breakfast proprietor, designing and constructing clothes for private clientele, TV show wardrober and textile and fashion designer. Her extensive travel in China led to her watercolor paintings on silk, which can be seen at fine art galleries throughout the United States. The paintings became the inspiration for turning fine art into ready-to-wear. Using her original artwork as a base, her paintings are digitally reproduced on silk and silk blends. Leonardi’s collection is print driven with a year round resort feel.

    SUSS DESIGN by Suss
At 19, she opened her first boutique, Thanks, in Stockholm, carrying fashion forward lines out of Italy in the early 80’s. But the real attraction was her novel hand knits that she constantly worked on in the store. Suss arrived in New York in the mid 80’s and began creating unique, singular and symbolic pieces for restaurateurs, musicians, auteurs, and entertainers. This journey eventually led Suss to Los Angeles, and in the early 90’s, expanded her line to childrenswear. In 1995, Suss Design opened as a boutique, with the opportunity to design for men, women and children in a format she developed in New York. The desire from her customers has always been to have something from Suss’ vision that expressed life with vibrancy and immediacy, these two elements are quintessential in her desire to design.
